If you're using a Kramer as your wireless guitar, you can hold down Start and Select and strum up (I think), that will switch the guitar into a mode where the strum bar is on the POV hat and the whammy bar is on the left analog, allowing the use of both.

Given we don't use a 360 controller we don't want the controller layout, so make sure when you start the game that the first key you press is a keyboard key. GH3 has two "modes", if the first key press is on the keyboard, then it loads the keyboard layout to play with, if the first key press is on the controller, then it loads the 360 controller layout to play with.

There's a problem, though, GH3 PC isn't compatible with PS2 guitars, take that as you may, you can't simply connect your guitar and expect it to work (you'll need a 360 guitar for that instead).īut it's PC, we can customize everything, so we can easily make this work. I used the disk of drivers the cord came with and in the end I just installed every single driver on the disk, it didn't help the problem, my computer did not want to use this guitar. Starting up GH3 my guitar did absolutely nothing. I switched those out with some new ones, and then everything was responding well. I actually don't know what it was doing but when that was finished I right away saw that my wireless receiver was receiving power (its a wireless guitar) but it had a blinking light which meant the guitar wasn't working, after some tiddling I found exploded batteries in it.
